I am originally from Philadelphia, but for the past six years I have been living in Fornello, a very small town in the Tuscan hills around Florence. I love to cook, eat, write, and take pictures. I love culture and travel.
Since moving to Italy just after college, where I majored in Anthropology, I have studied cooking, worked in five restaurants, and married an Italian man. Our current goal is to take all this Italian culinary knowledge I have been acquiring and he has been immersed in since birth back to the States and start up a restaurant.
In the mean time I am learning as much as I can in as many restaurants as I can and writing about life in Florence. It is fascinating, and it is delicious.
